MATHESON DESIGN ART GALLERY

Artist Larain Matheson embraces encaustic as her inspirational medium. For the past 8 years, she expresses this medium of hot wax painting in nature, the rocks, skies, ocean, and landscapes. She abstracts from the natural architecture of the land and sea. Her creations expand senses of place, opening up new spaces to fill with color, making the unseen more “visible”.  She also exhibits in local galleries and offers workshops.
