When booking on line you will find Abalone Bay listed as a “Dog Friendly” home – or simply ask reservationists to assist you with booking Abalone Bay.

Pet Amenities: We have small dog bowls and a feeding mat available for your dog. You will find old towels to clean your dog with and a luxurious doggy throw for the furniture. We strongly recommend you do not feed your pet outside, as it will attract raccoons that will gladly dine on your pet’s dinner.

Ticks and other hazards: It is important to stay on the marked trails and out of the meadow grasses to avoid ticks and comply with The Sea Ranch Association Rules and Regulations for the community of The Sea Ranch. Do be sure to check your pet (and yourselves) for ticks after your hikes before entering Abalone Bay. Learn more about ticks in Sonoma County.

Keep Pets With You: Pets should be with you as much as possible during your stay so they do not bark and whine longingly for you or get into mischief while you are away.  If you must leave a pet alone, we recommend leaving them outside in the courtyard, or in a pet crate or cage designed for them.  Do not leave them where they can scratch at the woodwork.
