Know Before You Book

Before you book our home we want to make sure we are a good fit for you. For that reason we first urge you to take a close look at our Terms and Policies.  They are required to confirm and finalize your booking.  If you have difficulty in agreeing to these rules and our expectations we encourage you to book elsewhere.

Minimum Stay

Friday and Saturdays booked together unless prior permission is arranged.

Cancellations: A flat fee of $125 is charged for every cancellation.

Cancel for ANY Reason Travel Insurance: We strongly advise when you book you purchase Cancel for ANY Reason Travel Insurance offered you at the time of booking.

Daily Rate: Rates fluctuate based on demand. Review calendar below to see current rates.

Minimum stays and rate varies due to seasonality and holidays. Please select your dates on our online booking calendar for an exact quote. Then submit your inquiry on the form below.

  • 2-night minimum – General minimum stays 
  • 4-night minimum – Spring Break/Easter Holiday must include weekend : April 11-21, 2025 
  • 5-night minimum – Summer: June 1- August 31, 2024
  • 3-night minimum – Labor Day Holiday: August 31 -2, 2024
  • 3-night minimum – Veteran’s Day Holiday: November 11, 2024
  • 4-night minimum – Thanksgiving must include weekend: November 22, 2025 
  • 5-night minimum – Winter Holidays:  December 17, 2024- January 2, 2025.
    No arrivals on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day  

Maximum Guests

We accept up to six (6) guests maximum, including infants and children. 

Fees and Taxes

 Please be advised that upon acceptance of our Rental Agreement, we charge full payment for the entirety of Guest’s reservation.

This includes fees and taxes as follows:

  • Sea Ranch Home Owners Association Guest Fee (non-owner) is an added 3.5% of the base rent 
  • 12 % Sonoma Taxes (TOT) on the full rate

Available methods of payment 

  • Full payment is due upon booking.
  • Credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
  • Paypal
  • Check to owner: Guest may mail a check with advance permission.

In completing booking, Guest is authorizing Sea Ranch Abalone Bay to process payment with the credit card on file provided by Guest as prescribed in accordance with Rental Policy and Guest Rental Agreement.

Differences of Pricing on Various Sites

We intentionally lower our prices for all who book directly from our website to save you the costly added fees that booking sites such as Airbnb and Vrbo charge both you and us.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation without penalty is allowed within 24 hours after the reservation is confirmed. The reservation must be made at least 72 hours before check-in.
Late cancellations or early departures do not warrant any refunds of rent or Initial Deposit. Any request for cancellation request must be made in writing to Owner (email qualifies as in writing).
 
For this reason, Guest has been encouraged to purchase Travel Insurance, especially Cancel For Any Reason.
 
Refunds on cancellations will be made as follows:
• A flat fee of $125 is charged for every cancellation made 24 hours after reservation is confirmed, plus the following:
• Up to 45 days before arrival, Guest receives 97%;
• Up to 21 days before arrival, Guest receives 50%; 
• No refunds will be given if cancellation is made within 21 days of Guest’s arrival date.
