Point Arena Independence Day Celebration Festivities
Come celebrate America’s Independence Holiday Weekend with Street Fairs, Community Picnic, Live Music, Downtown Parade. And of course, there’ll be fireworks!
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the City of Point Arena is excited to announce the return of the Annual Point Arena Independence Weekend Celebration!!
Point Arena, located about just 15 minutes north of The Sea Ranch, offers a delightful small town 4th of July Independence Day experience. Independence Day Events are many. Naturally they include a parade down main street. Then there’s the community block party in the harbor. Here kids and adults alike enjoy eating cotton candy, barbecue manned by the Redwood Coastal Volunteer Fire Department, and dancing in the streets. Later as the sun goes down over the harbor the sky is lit up by fireworks.
We recommend you don’t miss the fun when staying at Abalone Bay in Sea Ranch!
Saturday July 2 – Street Fair and Fireworks
Fireworks are usually scheduled on the weekend of or before the Fourth of July. They culminate a full day of fun, picnics, cookouts at the harbor and other fun events.

Unfortunately – I did not receive the memo that the traditional Independence Weekend picnic was not restarted. My apologies for getting the message wrong. But I do hope if you happened to check it out you had a great time nonetheless with your family and friends.
Donna, I am here in the Bower Park parking lot at 3 PM on 3Jul. Where is everyone?
Well rats! I’m not sure what happened. I’m checking on it now.
