Exploring Tidepools with Dr. Bob
Here is your opportunity to learn even more – first hand!
While this is a good family activity, guests are asked to please leave small children and pets at home. Sea Rancher Bob Van Syoc, Ph.D., Research Fellow at the California Academy of Sciences, will once again lead this popular nature walk.
Bob, a marine biologist specializing in barnacles, will help us find sea stars, sponges, mussels, sea urchins, barnacles, limpets, and much, much more.
The tide will be low at about 9:00 a.m., so this walk starts a little earlier than usual.
